How to clean a dirty carpet with household cleaner

How to clean a dirty carpet with household cleaner

Cleaning dirty old carpet is a challenge because once dirt and sand reach the bottom of the carpet, it's almost impossible to get it out. You can clean carpets yourself with household products.

No matter how clean you keep your home, old carpets accumulate stains and appear dingy. Regular cleaning brightens the carpet and removes the stains, while many carpet cleaning solutions and stain removers contain harsh chemicals and emit strong odors, a few common household products can clean your carpets effectively.

You can make homemade cleaners odorless if you have sensitivities to strong scents or add some natural scents for an extra clean smell. As an additional benefit, you can save money by making your own homemade carpet cleaners.

If do you want to buy a new carpet for home décor, here I suggested carpet manufacturers in India for handloom carpets. Choose handmade carpets, Persian carpets and rugs at http://www.tajmahalproducts.com/News.aspx

How to clean brass flower vase?

If your brass flower vase is an antique or valuable pot you may not want to clean it. Tarnish will stop any further oxygenation and helps to preserve the object, you can always clean it at a future time when you are going to sell it or show it off.

There are many ways to clean brass flower vase but always start by wiping the vase with a clean dry cloth. If the tarnish comes off easily buff the flower vase with another clean dry cloth and you are done. If you need to, use soapy water to clean the vase. Brass that is simply dirty but not tarnished will respond well to soap and water. Use a mild detergent and a clean cloth to wash the flower pot. You can use an old tooth brush to clean tough spots and hard to reach areas. Rinse all soap residues from the object and wipe it dry, do not let the object air dry. Once it is dry use another clean dry cloth to buff the brass until it shines.
